Our Story

How it all started...

In 2017, Iglesia Vida began as a bible study in the backyard of a house. Six families participated in this study for one year. Subsequently, the lord placed it on the heart of each family to start a new work in the city of La Mesa. After a time of prayer, doors were opened to make this dream become reality.

Under the leadership of Noeman Diaz, who is endorsed by the Send Network, and with the support of the NAMB (North American Mission Board), in September of 2018, Iglesia Vida San Diego opened its doors for the first time.

A little over two years later, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the english ministry Vida Church was born via the online platform "Zoom" on March 7th, 2021.

Only united can we accomplish the great commission the Lord has entrusted unto us and our prayer is that all those who become a part of this family grow and bear witness to the LIFE that Jesus gives us in abundance.

Expanding the vision...

Iglesia Vida, having started as a spanish ministry, set a goal to reach all people groups, from every walk of life. Our multi-generational and multi-cultural vision truly sees the gospel without borders. We fully embrace scripture as it pertains to Matthew 25:40

Where we are headed...

We push to empower each believer with a passion to reach the lost through the power of the gospel. Our goal is to become a church that actively gives the good news to all people from all walks of life.

A diamond in the rough must go through a process of refinement before becoming a precious jewel. Similarly, in obedience to the great commission, we will disciple each new believer by means of mid-week courses, prayers nights, and personal relationships as to recover their "imago dei" and baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

We will have achieved our mission if the aforementioned can be repeated and implemented by each disciple as a part of their day-to-day life.

in summary, we shall:

REACH. REFINE. REPEAT
